Calcined Kaolin Powder 1250/4000/6250 mesh

Calcined kaolin is a premium grade aluminum silicate material that undergoes precise thermal processing to achieve optimal performance characteristics. This ultra-fine white powder serves as both a high-performance pigment and multifunctional additive in various industrial applications. With its exceptional dispersion properties in both aqueous and solvent-based systems, it significantly enhances coating durability, improves film integrity, and increases resistance to moisture penetration and mechanical impact. The product's unique platelet structure contributes to superior suspension characteristics, preventing pigment settling and maintaining color consistency. Widely recognized for its ability to partially replace titanium dioxide while maintaining opacity, our calcined kaolin is the preferred choice for manufacturers seeking to optimize formulation costs without compromising quality in paints, coatings, sealants, and specialty chemical applications.

    Application

    1. Application in Coatings
In architectural coatings, especially latex paints, Yuantai's calcined kaolin products serve as functional additives that can partially replace titanium dioxide, reducing production costs while maintaining excellent coverage. They also help regulate gloss and enhance the mechanical properties of the paint film.

    2. Paint Filler
Kaolin is primarily used in paints as a filler and pigment substitute due to its excellent chemical inertness, high coverage, good flowability, and strong suspension properties. It is white in color, has outstanding optical properties, a high oil absorption rate, and a high pigment volume concentration. Additionally, it resists aging and abrasion, offering strong opacity, making it a recommended filler and pigment in the paint industry. It can effectively replace white pigments, particularly titanium dioxide, in paint formulations.

Packaging: 25kg per bag, packed in woven bags with inner plastic lining. Custom packaging is available upon request.
