Application
Tire Rubber: Low softening point Coumarone-Indene resin (80-100°C) is commonly used in tire rubber production, offering excellent compatibility with natural rubber particles. It has minimal impact on the vulcanization process, and it functions to enhance tackiness, reinforce the rubber, and soften the compound.
Paints and Coatings: High softening point Coumarone-Indene resin (100-110°C) is utilized in the production of paints and coatings. It helps improve the gloss of paints, increases film adhesion, enhances hardness, and offers greater resistance to acids and bases.
Inks: This resin is also employed in the formulation of inks, enhancing their durability and performance, particularly in printing applications that require strong adhesion and smooth finish.
Other Uses: Additionally, Coumarone-Indene resin is used in adhesives, sealants, and as a reinforcing agent in various polymer formulations.
