Application
Chlorinated Paraffin-70 is a highly effective flame retardant and plasticizer for a variety of industrial products, including:
1. Rubber and plastic industries: Used in flame-retardant conveyor belts, cables, PVC compounds, ABS, polystyrene, and polyethylene to enhance fire resistance and durability.
2. Coatings and resins: Used as an additive in fireproof coatings, polyester resins, fiberglass, and epoxy resins, improving thermal stability and self-extinguishing properties.
3. Paper and textile industries: Functions as a modifier in paper coatings and a fabric treatment agent, providing water resistance and flame retardancy.
4. Printing inks: Acts as a fire-resistant additive, enhancing chemical resistance and print longevity.
Storage & Safety
● Store in a cool, dry, and ventilated place, away from direct sunlight, moisture, and excessive heat to prevent degradation.
● Avoid exposure to high temperatures and open flames, as decomposition may release hydrogen chloride (HCl) gas.
● Use protective gloves and masks when handling to avoid direct contact with skin or inhalation of fine particles.
Packaging & safety
● Standard Packaging:
25kg polypropylene woven bags or composite paper bags.
Custom packaging is available based on customer requirements.
● Transport Considerations:
Classified as a non-hazardous chemical but should be handled with care to prevent contamination or moisture absorption.
With its high flame-retardant efficiency, excellent chemical stability, and broad industrial applications, Chlorinated Paraffin-70 is an ideal additive for enhancing fire resistance, durability, and performance across multiple sectors.
